When stores experience surges in traffic, it is imperative that all team members can communicate and collaborate effectively. But without the proper technology in place, managers and associates are not in the loop, which can lead to insufficient customer experiences and poor sales.
LNL Systems launched FlorComm, a suite of sales floor communication tools, to improve associate communication and productivity. Retailers currently using FlorComm include Coach, Foot Locker, Marshalls, Staples, T.J. Maxx and Under Armour.
The FlorComm suite of products includes four components: FlorAlert, FlorCall, FlorChat and FlorData. FlorAlert sends customized notifications to store associates, directing help to understaffed zones and curbing shoplifting incidents. FlorCall allows the consumer to push a button to actively request assistance, whether they need help in a fitting room, an understaffed department or an outside pickup area.
FlorChat devices are two-way radios that allow sales associates and managers to communicate with each other in real time. The devices enable staff members to connect while on the floor, which helps eliminates wasted steps and minimizing the need for PA announcements. FlorData helps retailers analyzes store associate productivity and customer activity through a variety of reports and online portals.
